Last updated October 25, 2026. This policy describes how Consent Check, operated by DUDE, WHAT'S THE BID LLC ("we", "us"), handles information when you use consent-check.com and related services.

Information we collect

Scans and URLs you submit, and the results we capture when loading those pages (network requests, cookies set, vendor calls, screenshots). Payment and billing information, processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Your email address and account details if you sign in, unlock a report or contact us. Your mobile phone number and messaging preferences if you opt in to text messages. Cookies and session data needed to keep you signed in and to grant access to unlocked reports. Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and error data.

How we use information

To run scans and deliver reports, process payments and unlocks, send transactional and account messages, provide support, secure and improve the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate Consent Check (for example hosting, payment processing via Stripe, email and messaging delivery), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

Retention

We keep scan results, account and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted transport and signed session cookies. No system is perfectly secure.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Contact hello@consent-check.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
